“You’re Amazing” Catholic Sports Outreach

Student-athletes need to know they are MORE THAN the sports they play! Their identity and worth is MORE THAN their ability to compete.

They are Amazing not because of what they do but because of WHO they are! It is through identifying their true GREATNESS that makes them the most influential and inspirational players in the athletic arena.

“Do you not know that the runners in the stadium all run in the race, but only one wins the prize? Run so as to win. Every athlete exercises discipline in every way. They do it to win a perishable crown, but we an imperishable one.”
1 Cor 9:24-25

We are committed to supporting and working through your school’s athletic department to take athletic training to a deeper level that promotes greater purpose, perseverance, performance, and a desire to WIN.

  • HN Missionaries will build intentional relationships with your student-athletes on campus, attend your school’s sporting events, and invest in the families of your athletes.

  • This training is created by Hard as Nails Ministries ( HANM) and facilitated by HN missionaries. It focuses on how to be a competitor who is a servant leader who leads like Christ on and off the playing field. Through this servant leadership training, student-athletes will discover how to use their athletic gifts, personal witnesses, and encouraging spirits to cheer their teammates on to victory -in the sports arena and in the arena of life. (Each school is asked to invite at least two students from each sport to participate in this training.)

  • These huddles are small group bible studies and discussions led by trained student athlete leaders or Coaches on campus and facilitated by HN Missionaries. These huddles will help student athletes build camaraderie, encourage growth in the evangelical virtues of courage, authenticity, and obedience, and deepen each athlete's relationship with Christ.

  • HN Staff and Missionaries will give Christ centered messages to encourage coaches and athletes.

  • This is a dynamic and fun sports and faith retreat experience catered specifically for 30-50 student athletes to have a transformation in their life. (Schools are asked to send two faculty members.)
